Baby season is upon us! Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian have officially welcomed their second daughter, Adira River Ohanian.Â
The couple introduced their newest bundle of joy in a sweet TikTok on Tuesday. In the clip, Williams, Ohanian, and their daughter, Olympia, are seen snuggled up on a couch. Williams, rocking a bright pink oversized shirt, then gets up and disappears off-screen before re-emerging with the newborn wrapped in a blanket. Five-year-old Olympia then plants a kiss on her little sister, and the family embraces its newest member.Â
“Welcome, my beautiful angel,” Williams captioned the video.Â

Shortly after the TikTok announcement, the tennis star revealed baby Ohanian’s name in an Instagram post.
The couple announced they were expecting their second child together in May 2023 at the Met Gala, where Williams debuted her baby bump. In July 2023, they shared that they were having another girl. However, the two remained quiet about the due date, so it’s unclear when she gave birth. The tennis star and Reddit co-founder have been together since 2015, tying the knot two years later before welcoming their first child.
Williams’ first pregnancy and delivery came with several complications. She endured a c-section and suffered blood clots, which nearly claimed her life. Her post-baby game on the court was the topic of immense criticism, and in 2022, she announced she was taking some time away from the sport. Hopefully, this labor was not met with any hardships. Williams appears healthy and in good spirits during her birth announcement.Â
Congratulations to Serena and Alexis!
