Angela Bassett To Direct Whitney Houston Biopic

I’ve always been intrigued by the life of Whitney Houston. From growing up as the child of a gospel singer, to being a “bad girl” forced to put on a good girl image, Nippy has always been interesting to me. There’s so much about Whitney that I’m sure we didn’t know and now we may get to see her life behind the scenes, thanks to Angela Bassett who is said to be directing her upcoming biopic.

Angela Bassett has been chosen to direct a Lifetime original movie focusing on Whitney Houston’s relationship with Bobby Brown.

No casting has been announced.
