Kroy Biermann has filed for divorce yet again from his Real Housewife-turned-influencer spouse, Kim Zolciak.
The embattled couple just can’t seem to get on the same page regarding their marital status. On Thursday, the former NFL pro filed documents to end his marriage once again, TMZ reports. The latest action comes after they both filed for divorce back in May, slinging accusations at one another surrounding gambling addictions and marijuana usage. By July, the couple seemed ready to reconcile, dropping their divorce petitions and working on saving their family. For reasons unknown, things have taken a turn this week.
In his latest bid to end his 12-year union, Bierman called their once holy matrimony “irretrievably broken.” He is seeking primary legal and physical custody of their four youngsters, Kroy, Kash, and twins Kaia and Kane. He is even pursuing child support from Zolciak despite her reportedly being in financial ruin, which is reportedly the main reason for the split. Days ago, Zolciak’s daughter Brielle, whom Biermann adopted, was sued by American Express for failing to pay over $12,000 in charges, an indicator that the entire family is battling money issues.
Biermann previously called for Zolciak to undergo a psychological exam while she requested that he be drug tested. It’s unclear if they will seek those same evaluations this go around. Even after the May filing, the couple continued living together, though Biermann now wants primary use of their marital home.
For the sake of their children, let’s hope they will avoid a messy divorce and just get it over with. Neither has publicly commented on this most recent development.
