Nick Carter denies claims that he sexually assaulted a woman on a yacht when she was 15.
According to TMZ, the woman has filed a lawsuit against the Backstreet Boys singer, accusing him of multiple instances of sexual assault in 2003 and for coercing her onto a yacht and a bus to give her alcohol when he was 23.
However, Nick strongly refutes the incident, asserting that the lawsuit’s allegations are false.
The plaintiff has submitted the lawsuit under an anonymous identity, marking the third woman to bring a sexual assault lawsuit against Carter.
According to Carter’s attorney, Dale Hayes Jr., the woman made these allegations against Nick twenty years ago, and after a thorough investigation, authorities found no basis to pursue charges.
Nick’s attorney asserts that the accuser is restating baseless allegations in a new complaint, which he says doesn’t make them any more valid.
Additionally, Nick faces another lawsuit from Shannon Ruth, who claims he assaulted her after a 2001 concert when she was underage. He maintains he has witnesses to dispute Ruth’s claims.
He also denies claims brought by singer Melissa Schuman, who claims Nick sexually assaulted her in 2002.
Nick’s legal team says they’re “looking forward to the evidence being presented and the truth about these malicious schemes coming to light.”
