Tory Lanez & His Baby Mama Are Reportedly Officially Married

Tory Lanez could be the next “Love After Lockup” star after it was announced that he is a married man.

The revelation came to light as part of new details surrounding Lanez’s bail request. He is hoping to be released pending the outcome of his appeal. According to reporter Meghann Cuniff, who has heavily covered the Megan Thee Stallion shooting and Tory Lanez trial, Lanez’s love life has taken several turns in recent weeks as he fights for his freedom. 

“From his sentencing hearing engagement announcement to his bail motion wedding announcement, Tory Lanez’s relationship status has advanced rapidly in the last few weeks. His fiancée is now his wife, according to the motion,” Cuniff explained on Twitter. 

In part of the newly filed court documents, also shared by Cuniff, Lanez’s legal team detailed his plans if released on bond.

“If released, he would live locally in the Los Angeles area with his wife, Raina Chassagne, and their child, aged six years old. Upon receiving bail, Mr. Peterson’s wife and child will be relocating from Florida to Los Angeles, where the child will be regularly attending school,” the paperwork stated.

Cuniff also questioned Lanez’s attorney, Jose Baez, who was vacationing in Italy when he was supposed to be working on getting Lanez home. Baez shot back, calling Cuniff a “blogger” who was spreading misinformation about the case. However, new documents show that Baez did not file the bail motion on Lanez’s behalf. Instead, it was Unite the People who filed. The nonprofit organization has its own team of lawyers who fight to free those deemed unfairly incarcerated.

Chassagne was seen visibly upset after Lanez received his 10-year sentence for shooting former friend Megan Thee Stallion. The rapper had asked the judge to give Lanez the maximum time behind bars. He has continued to maintain his innocence and pointed the blame at Meg’s friend, Kelsey Harris.
