A Lil Baby fan is in critical condition after being shot during his show in Memphis.
The shooting took place Thursday night inside the FedEx Forum around 10:00 p.m. An attendee told Fox 13 Memphis that as Rylo Rodriguez was performing, Lil Baby joined him on the stage. That is when a gunshot rang out, sending many into a panic. Police responded to the scene at around 10:23 p.m., where they found a male suffering from a bullet wound. Witnesses saw him being rushed out of the arena as police and security staff worked to shut down the show. GloRilla was also supposed to perform that night as part of Baby’s It’s Only Us tour. None of the artists have commented on the matter.

As of now, police have not released any information regarding who might’ve fired the weapon during the concert. What is known, however, is that the victim is being treated at Regional One Health Medical Center. No other attendees were injured in the shooting.
Concert violence has haunted several artists this year. In June, a Finesse2Tymes afterparty in Decatur, Georgia, ended in five people being shot. In March, fans believed they heard gunshots while exiting Rochester’s Main Street Armory after GloRilla and Finesse2tymes’s show. This led to a stampede that left two attendees dead. None of these instances were the fault of the artists.
