Cynthia Bailey fans may miss her on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” but the former model is ready to leave her reality TV life behind.
The Bailey Agency founder explained her decision during a recent episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. According to her, she has nothing more to show viewers after spending 11 years on the series.
“I gave you guys two marriages, two divorces. Like, I just don’t have anything else left to give you guys,” she confirmed.
Bailey made her RHOA debut in season three. Fans followed along during her rocky road down the aisle with ex-husband Peter Thomas, as well as their business endeavors. The two remained married for seven years before divorcing in 2017. She then began dating sports commentator Mike Hill in 2019 before marrying the following year. Through these many life changes, the Bravo cameras were rolling for it all until Bailey left the series after season 13. She and Hill have since divorced. Still, Bailey keeps in contact with several of her Housewives friends, such as Kandi Burruss and Kenya Moore, but is not interested in re-joining them as a full-time cast member, despite appearing on the show occasionally as a friend.
Fans have longed for several long-running cast members to return to the show. Viewers have advocated for Phaedra Parks, Nene Leakes, Porsha Williams, and Bailey to come back and revive their shady sisterhood. This has been especially true with rumors of a re-casting swirling. No matter which route Bravo takes with upcoming seasons of RHOA, it’s clear the eyewear designer will not be in the number.
