Taylor Swift was so happy that her “guiding light,” Beyoncé, was able to make an appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of her concert film on Wednesday.
“I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @ beyonce’s influence,” Swift captioned her Instagram post of a boomerang video that showed her and Beyoncé. “The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit.”
“Her resilience and versatility,” she added. “She’s been a guiding light throughout my career, and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale.”
In a fun boomerang clip, the two pop icons could be seen sharing Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour popcorn in the front row of a movie theater while playfully tossing popcorn and exchanging glances.
Over the years, both Swift and Beyonce have supported each other and their careers.
Swift’s concert film releases worldwide on Friday, while Beyoncé plans to drop her new concert film, “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé,” on December 1, featuring her recent Renaissance World Tour.
