Dwight Howard requests that a judge dismiss a lawsuit accusing him of sexually assaulting a man he met on Instagram.
In court documents obtained by RadarOnline, it was confirmed that the former NBA star connected with the accuser, Stephen Harper, via social media in May 2021.
According to reports, Harper messaged Howard on Instagram and shared his phone number, to which Howard responded. Harper’s lawsuit claims Howard expressed interest in “freaky” sex acts and explicit photos.
Howard had admitted to exchanging “several” explicit texts with Harper from May to July 2021 and said they “engaged in consensual kissing” when Harper visited his home on July 19, 2021.
Additionally, Harper’s lawsuit claims that Howard surprised him by requesting a threesome with a man dressed as a woman named “Kitty.” He allegedly refused the threesome and started performing oral sex on Howard.
Harper started to resist Howard’s advances when he stroked his “penis through his underwear.” He claims that Howard disregarded his objections and insisted that he was “going to like it.”
The “Defendant stood up (towering over Mr. Harper), grabbed Mr. Harper by the thighs, forcibly removed Mr. Harper’s underwear, held Mr. Harper down, and performed nonconsensual oral sex on Mr. Harper,” the suit read. “Mr. Harper was in fear of imminent bodily harm when he was pinned down and forced to remain in place while Defendant continued to sexually assault him.”
Harper claimed that Howard stopped the sexual act when he realized he wasn’t enjoying it. Afterward, Howard directed Harper to his bed, where he and “Kitty” engaged in sexual acts.
According to the lawsuit, Howard forced Harper into oral sex, and then he arranged for “Kitty” to drive him home.
The lawsuit states that Howard is facing charges of assault, battery, emotional distress, and false imprisonment.
In response to the lawsuit, Howard claims that Harper knew about Kitty.
He said, “Plaintiff was aware that would also be arriving at the home prior to Plaintiff even arriving at Defendant’s home.”
Additionally, Howard acknowledged that “Kitty” was a man dressed as a woman and claimed that the touching was consensual.
“The three agreed to touch one another and to engage in consensual sexual activity,” Howard’s lawyer wrote.
Howard is denying all sexual assault allegations and is requesting that the entire lawsuit be dismissed.
