It is no surprise that James Harden has not been in attendance at the Philadelphia 76ers practice after referring to Daryl Morey as a liar a few months ago. James and his team have asked for a trade. Everyone knows that the Los Angeles Clippers want James Harden there.
Harden attended practice for a few days and participated. On October 13th, he was asked about his relationship with Morey, and Harden stated that it was ‘irreparable.’
It has been reported that no other teams are sending in any trade offers, including the one that the Clippers shared with Philadelphia. They don’t think the value is high enough. Although that’s understandable, but when Harden is at his best, he can be the second-best player on your team.
James Harden went to Houston over the weekend and never returned. He did not report to practice, he wasn’t communicative. The former Sun Devil flew into Philadelphia after not attending any practices in the last few days expecting to travel to Milwaukee for Philadelphia’s first game tonight.
It is being reported that Harden was denied entry by team security and asked not to come on the trip. Harden is a distraction and has not been acting like a true professional. Even if you request the trade, you have to play or lose the money in the process. But he’s not helping the team and the Sixers realize that. How long will it take for Harden to be traded is the real question.
This is the first time Philadelphia has shown their displeasure for his attitude publicly. The next few weeks will be interesting.
