Dwight Howard has addressed the sexual assault lawsuit filed against him and the ensuing discussions about his sexual orientation.
The ex-NBA player took to Instagram Live to emphasize that individuals should focus on their own actions in their private lives rather than concerning themselves with his personal choices.
“Whatever I’m doing in my bedroom is my damn business. Whatever you are doing in your bedroom is your damn business,” he said. “Everybody don’t need to know. You ain’t got to say what is going on in your house. That ain’t for everybody on the internet. Y’all are just weird.”
Additionally, he emphasized his belief that there’s no need for individuals to disclose their private activities, and he also refrains from sharing such details.
“You ain’t gotta explain that to nobody, no matter what they say,” he added. “They can say anything, who gives two sh*ts? Y’all too damn nosey worried about what I’m doing in my bed. Hell, the people who know what’s going on in my bed, they know what the hell going on with my bed and what the hell I do in it. That ain’t for everybody on the internet. That ain’t for no blogs, that ain’t for no websites. I ain’t gotta tell nobody where I put my wood at, since y’all wanna get to it.”
Additionally, he subtly addressed the allegations made against him in the lawsuit.
“Stop worrying about it. I ain’t gotta deny it, I don’t gotta talk about none of that crap,” he said. “This sh*t didn’t even happen. You worried about the wrong stuff. That’s why it’s called an accusation. Allegedly. Come on, man.”
Earlier this week, an individual named Stephen Harper accused Howard of sexual assault, alleging the incident occurred in July 2021.
