Kodak Black suggests that he has the potential to serve as a mentor to Kanye West.
The long-awaited interview featuring Kodak Black, N.O.R.E., and DJ EFN was released on various platforms last Saturday. During the show’s “Quicktime With Slime” segment, the “Super Gremlin” rapper expressed his opinions about both Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. During this segment, the guests are presented with a choice between two options, and if they choose both, they must take a shot as a penalty. When asked if he aligns with “Team Pharrell” or “Team Kanye,” Kodak ultimately chose Pharrell over Kanye but stated his appreciation for both artists.
“I f*ck with Pharrell. I’m not going to lie, I can call Pharrell and talk about anything. I f*ck with him,” Kodak said. “But Kanye [is] Gemini gang. And Kanye, I felt like I can be his mentor or something. It would be very fruitful for his life. Kanye, when you see [this], holler at me.”
The full interview premiered shortly after fans raised concerns about Kodak’s demeanor in promo clips of the show. Almost immediately, viewers started commenting on the rapper’s body language, noting that it appeared noticeably different or unusual.
“He needs help NOW!!!!!!! Omg this just broke my heart! How on earth can people be around him and watch him fall apart like this and not have him in rehab or something,” one person said, while another added, “He look so unhealthy.”
