Travis Barker denies claims that his wife Kourtney and her sister Kim Kardashian are having issues after it was revealed that he had a crush on Kim in his 2016 memoir “Can I Say,” calling the speculation “ridiculous.”
“You give people a little information, and they think they’ve solved the mystery of ‘this is why they’re fighting.’ It’s just so ridiculous,” he said.
In his book, Barker said that Kim was “f*cking hot” and admitted to admiring her while dating Paris Hilton in 2006.
“I obviously shared all that stuff because I wanted to move past it,” Barker explained. “It was therapeutic for me.”
Despite marrying Kourtney last year, Barker affirmed that there was no Kardashian family drama over his past crush on Kim.
“That’s her sister. She knows we used to talk. Nothing bad was going on,” he said.
In 2021, Kim shut down claims that she and Barker had a romantic past.
“NO! False narrative!” she wrote via her Instagram Story. “We’ve been friends for years, and I’m so happy for him and Kourt.”
The reported cause of the conflict between the Kardashian sisters was an argument related to a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show, as shown on an episode of “The Kardashians.”
