North West is already taking after her parents, outlining some big plans for the future.
The 10-year-old covered i-D Magazine in her first solo feature of her young career. Her creativity has been displayed on social media countless times through her unique fashion sense and paintings. During her interview, North expounded on these talents and detailed how she plans to use them. Declaring herself “The Best Ever,” the artist shared that she also enjoys singing and being on stage, something she partially credits her dad, Kanye West, for instilling in her.
Touching on fashion, North said that vintage t-shirts and sweatpants are the highlights of her current style era. However, she would love to dip into her parent’s closets. Still, when asked who was her style icon, North confidently replied, “Me.” While the youngster has been compared to both West and Kim Kardashian, she does not only want to take on a career in beauty, fashion, and music. Instead, North wants it all, laying it out when asked what she wants to be when she grows up.
“A basketball player, a rapper, um… Well, when I was seven, I wanted to be a boxer. But now I don’t want to be a boxer. I’m going to do art on the side. When I’m, like, thirteen, I want to walk dogs, to make money to buy art supplies, because everything around here is so expensive. So a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell,” the upcoming baller explained.
In her most ambitious plans, North says she wants to “own Yeezy and SKIMS.” As the oldest of the Kardashian-West children, that idea could very well fall into her lap.
