New photos have surfaced in the domestic violence case involving singer and producer The-Dream, whose legal name is Terius Nash. According to TMZ and other outlets, Lydia, the mother of his son, released photos she says show bruises on her neck and arms from an alleged incident in April 2013 at the Plaza Hotel in New York.
Lydia’s criminal complaint reportedly alleges that The-Dream dragged her by the hair, choked her with a necklace, kicked and punched her, and pinned her to a wall while choking her again. She was pregnant at the time, according to her account. She also reportedly alleges that he threatened her, and she is said to have filed a police report in November 2013.
The-Dream has denied the allegations. TMZ reported on May 7, 2014 that he turned himself in to the NYPD, and the charges reported at the time included felony strangulation and assault along with misdemeanor counts. These are allegations and charges only, and nothing has been proven in court.
