Popeyes is giving away free chicken sandwiches once again in honor of National Chicken Sandwich Day.
Even though National Chicken Sandwich Day is celebrated on November 9th, the promotion kicked off a few days early on November 2nd and will go through November 12th. Fans who purchase one chicken sandwich combo can get an extra Popeyes chicken sandwich for no additional cost. For this year’s deal, customers can choose between the chain’s famous original chicken sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, bacon, and cheese chicken sandwich, or the newer Spicy TRUFF chicken sandwich.
Popeyes fans have raved about the sandwich since its debut in 2019. Locations experienced long lines and even some fights over the chicken that went viral. The massive response caused the company to halt production of the handheld briefly. The popularity even led to a social media war between Wendy’s and Popeyes over whose sandwich was the best.
Popeyes isn’t the only company getting in on the National Chicken Sandwich Day fun. Krystal, Firehouse Subs, and even Subway have their own freebies for customers. Grubhub has partnered with several restaurants, including Buffalo Wild Wings, which will give 50% off a sandwich, and Wendy’s, which is offering a free Baconator on the app.
To take advantage of the free Popeyes sandwich, customers must place their orders through the Popeyes mobile app and choose between either pick-up or delivery.
