A woman who is accusing Steven Tyler of sexual assault has filed a lawsuit against him just before the statute of limitations cutoff.
Jeanne Bellino is the latest woman to come forward to allege she was sexually assaulted nearly 50 years ago by the rockstar. Her attorney, Jeff Anderson, told TMZ that he and his client recently decided to file the lawsuit under New York City’s Gender-Motivated Violence Act.
Bellino alleges she was assaulted by Tyler while in New York City in 1975. At the time she was 17. Under the act, alleged victims have a larger window for the statute of limitations, but Anderson says it was set to expire at the end of November.
Tyler was sued by Julia Holcomb at the end of last year, alleging she was sexually assaulted by him in 1973 when she was just 16 and also claimed he pressured her to get an abortion. She was also represented by Anderson.
Holcomb and Bellino plan to serve as witnesses for each other’s cases.
