Tristan Thompson has finally apologized to Kylie Jenner for ruining her friendship with former bestie Jordyn Woods after he kissed her back in 2019 while still in a relationship with Khloe Kardashian.
Previously, Thompson had apologized off-camera to Kris, Kim, and Rob Kardashian for repeatedly mistreating Khloe. However, he hadn’t yet obtained closure with Kylie or Kourtney Kardashian regarding his actions.
During this week’s episode of “The Kardashians,” the NBA player attributed his growth to extensive therapy, expressing that he’s now capable of “really seeing and owning up to the mistakes I made” in a new light to further mend relations within Khloe’s family.
“In this family, if you do something to one of us, it affects everyone. And they’re entitled to their feelings,” Khloe warned him. “It’s not some small thing that happened, but time has gone by. It’s done. My son is here, your other son is here, and some of their emotions have settled down. Not forgotten, not forgiven, but settled down.”
Shortly after, Thompson admitted to making the first move on Woods at a Valentine’s Day party in 2020, expressing his regret to Khloe for contributing to the strain between Kylie and Jordyn Woods.
He said, “Especially me being the older one, I should have handled it differently; I should have handled it more like the older person, the elder statesman.”
Khloe then reminded him that people can be “old and not wise.” Adding that she has “forgiven Jordyn,” she said the two have “moved on” and there’s “no bad blood” between them anymore.”
“I think you have such a great heart and good energy and to know you is to love you,” she added. “It is confusing. Some of the s–t you do is really f–king crazy. It’s just hard to forgive the things that you did to Khloe, but I want to move on from that.”
Tristan confessed to being selfish and ignorant about “the value of good people,” expressing his intent to demonstrate trustworthiness through future actions. He said, “I’m trying to right my wrongs as best as I can while I’m here,” which emotionally resonated with Jenner as he discussed wanting to be a positive influence and role model for his children.
