Snoop Dogg Not Really “Giving Up Smoke” After All

False alarm! Snoop Dogg is not actually quitting marijuana. 

The West Coast icon sent fans reeling when he announced that he would be giving up smoke. Anyone who has been a lifelong Snoop fan knows the “Gin & Juice” rapper is a Mary Jane connoisseur. In the November 16th post, Snoop wrote, “After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.” This prompted other rappers such as Coi Leray, Meek Mill, and Boosie to also publicly denounce weed. However, we now know it was all a scheme for his latest endorsement. 

On Monday, the OG shared an Instagram Reel where he announced, “I know what you thinking: ‘Snoop, smoke is kinda your whole thing.’ But I’m done with it. Done with the coughing and my clothes smelling all sticky icky. I’m going smokeless.” The frame then expands, and a small Solo Stove is seen sitting in front of him.

The company, which makes smokeless fire pits, also shared some behind-the-scenes footage of Snoop roasting marshmallows, something he says he has never done before. The brilliant marketing will surely bring the company the sales they’re looking for, as Snoop is known for partnering with many brands. He recently announced a new partnership with Sketchers and hosted his famous cooking show with Martha Stewart.
