Macy’s is reportedly phasing out Diddy’s Sean John clothing line.
The news came shortly after the music mogul settled in court following Cassie’s lawsuit for rape and years of abuse.
Recently, Diddy was hit with two additional lawsuits for drugging, choking and rape.
According to RadarOnline, the brand might be unavailable as soon as this month.
“Sean John doesn’t bring in as much for Macy’s as it did in the late ’90s and ’00s,” said an insider. The source added, “As part of our ongoing review of our brand portfolio, the Sean John collection has started to phase out since early fall 2023.
Sean John products will be unavailable on Macy’s site as they undergo a “reimagining” process, seen as a relevant step in the brand’s transformation.
The company, founded in 1998, became exclusive to Macy’s and its website in 2010 through a distribution agreement with Diddy. In 2016, he sold 90% stake to Global Brands Group, buying it back in 2021.
