The “Body” star recently went live on Instagram recently, where she addressed how she wishes to move forward in regards to men. She first poked fun at those who seemed shocked at the fact that she enjoys having sex despite her speaking openly about it in her music. However, in a moment of somewhat seriousness, Meg let it be known that she is making some changes.

“I am turning over a new leaf, and I’m stingy with the cootie cat,” she told her viewers.

Meg’s new revelation arrives shortly after she released her highly anticipated new single, “Cobra.” The record touched on many things, such as her drinking to cope with the pressures of fame and missing her parents, both of whom are deceased. She also hinted at walking in on a lover receiving oral sex. This prompted her ex, Pardison Fontaine, to issue a response track of his own, slamming claims that he cheated on her and instead accusing her of sleeping with several people whom he tried to defend her against. While it’s unclear if Meg’s being “done with the streets” had anything to do with his song, she isn’t looking to date anyone new.

Earlier this year, it was speculated that Meg was dating Belgian soccer player Romelu Lukaku after they were spotted together at a teammate’s wedding. However, neither confirmed a romance. As for now, the 28-year-old has declared, “I’m not a freak anymore.”
