LeBron James Family Foundation recently unveiled LeBron James’ Home Court museum in Akron, Ohio.
Fans will begin the tour with an immersive experience, recreating his childhood apartment in Akron’s Spring Hill neighborhood with items from his 20-year NBA career.
The exhibit features iconic jerseys from James’ career, including his McDonald’s All-American jersey from high school and the all-white suit worn at the 2003 draft when he was selected as the No. 1 overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The museum traces NBA player’s careers, from the Cavs to the Miami Heat and beyond, showcasing championships with multimedia and game-worn items.
Additionally, the museum will highlight James’ off-court philanthropy, showcasing his foundation’s evolution from a 2009 Bike-A-Thon to the I PROMISE education program launch in 2018.
Ticket proceeds from the museum will directly support LeBron James’ foundation, benefiting I PROMISE students, parents, educators, and family members.
