V. Stiviano Appears On 20/20 With Barbara Walters

V. Stiviano is going to ride the Donald Sterling train as far as she can. Tonight she appeared on ABC’s 20/20 with Barbara Walters in a bizarre interview. She discussed the tapes that leaked to TMZ, and whether she thought Sterling was racist. What she said may shock you, I know I was confused to say the least.  Here are a few quotes from the interview.

When asked if Donald Sterling was racist:

“No, I don’t believe it in my heart.”

“I think the things he says are not what he feels. Anybody can say anything in the heat of the moment.”

“I think Mr. sterling is from a diff generation than I am. I think he was brought up to believe this things.. segregation.”

“If he was a real racist, then why would he help the world the way he has?”

On the biggest misconception about her:

“That I’m a mistress, a whore, or a woman of the night.”

On her relationship with Sterling:

“I love [Donald Sterling] like a father figure. I’m Mr. Sterling’s personal assistant.”

“I’m Mr. Sterling’s right-hand man, arm. I’m Mr. Sterling’s everything. I’m his confidant, his best friend, his silly rabbit.”

“Mr. Sterling is being tested right now by a higher power or being. And I’m forced to come to his rescue, because he can’t rescue himself.”

“I became part of Mr. sterling’s team. I became someone who protected him, someone who took care of him. I became someone who protected [Sterling], someone who took care of him…and people did not like that.”

On Donald Sterling’s current frame of mind:

he is “confused…tormented, emotionally traumatized.”

“He’s..traumatized…by the things that he said himself. I think he can’t even believe or understand sometimes the thing he says.”

“ I think he’s hurt by it. He’s hurting right now.”

On Who She Was Not Supposed To Bring To The Games

“Those people that didn’t give me a good look.”

“I think he was generalizing…not just black people.”

On If This Was The First Time She Was Told Not To Bring Black People To Games 

“There’s been a number of occasions where Mr. Sterling and I had conversations just like this one. This was one of very many,” she said. “Part of what the world heard was only 15 minutes. There’s a number of other hours that the world doesn’t know.”

This sharp faced broad is absolutely insane! She doesn’t think he’s racist but she spent 15 minutes convincing him to let her hang out with black people. She claims she was not in a romantic relationship with Sterling but he’s spent over $2mill on her and she is heard on the tapes calling him “honey” “baby” and other pet names.  She says he just didn’t want her to bring anyone to the games that wasn’t a “good look” but how is Magic Johnson a bad look? Mind you, she didn’t even bring him to the games, she just took a photo. 

The entire interview is full of her talking in circles and contradicting herself. Clearly she did not consult with Ms. Steffans before she sat down with Barbara Walters and that is where she messed up.
