Rapper Quando Rondo was arrested Friday and faces federal drug charges, TMZ confirmed.
The Georgia rapper was taken into custody while riding as a passenger in a car that was pulled over. The traffic stop was made with the intention of arresting Quando. None of the other occupants in the car were taken into custody, the outlet reported.
Quando, whose real name is Tyquian Terrel Bowman, was indicted this summer along with 18 other individuals on state gang and drug charges. Â He’s also accused of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act because of his involvement with the Rollin’ 60s street gang.
Prosecutors allege Quando told another defendant to negotiate weed prices and then traveled to Macon, GA to pay the supplier.
