“Married To Medicine” Star Cecil Whitmore Says He Has A Few Jobs After Fan Questions His Employment

“Married To Medicine” husband Cecil Whitmore is tired of folks questioning his career path and is setting the record straight. 

For several seasons, there has been a long-running joke that Whitmore is a “house husband” despite his past career in tech. Since he has retired from the IT realm, Whitmore has dabbled in several other endeavors. So when one Twitter user questioned his occupation over the weekend as “Married To Medicine” was airing, he took a moment to clear his name.

“So since y’all want to get in Men’s business. I worked 20 years as an IT executive. I am @Morehouse Man, and I am now a realtor in Atlanta. I help Simone’s business with IT, Accounting, and anything else. #Married2Med #behindthescenes,” he tweeted.

Whitmore got into real estate around 2019. He shared his headshot on Instagram in January of that year, letting his fans know that he was beginning this new journey in the Atlanta area.

Prior to this announcement, Whitmore also became familiar with the real estate market in Los Angeles, though it’s unknown which properties he owns on the West Coast. He and his wife, Dr. Simone Whitmore, host a rental property on Airbnb. That East Point, Georgia, home has 13 reviews on the rental site, all of which are positive, with short-term renters praising Whitmore for his professionalism and the cleanliness of the house. Though Whitmore has not updated his real estate Instagram page in some time, it still contains images of homes that he has sold. 

Clearly, Cecil is bringing home a check!
