Tubi has partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery to stream several DC films.
According to Variety, fans of the rising free streaming platform will now be able to watch popular selections such as “Suicide Squad,” “Black Adam,” “Wonder Woman” and “Aquaman.” Superhero series “Batwoman,” “Gotham,” and “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” will also be available in the Tubi DC catalog beginning in 2024. New DC releases will stream on Tubi, as well.
As part of the new deal, some titles were made available early.
On Tuesday, Tubi debuted “Batman,” “Batman Returns,” “Batman Forever,” “Superman: The Movie,” and “Superman II,” and the TV series “Batwoman,” “Gotham,” and “Krypton.”
Tubi chief content officer Adam Lewinson stated that the company is thrilled to partner with DC to bring such classics to the ad-supported streamer.
“The addition of recent blockbuster movies and fan-favorite series from the DC library is a monumental offering for Tubi viewers,” Tubi chief content officer Adam Lewinson said.
DC will also introduce its animated superhero productions, such as “Batman: Death in the Family,” “DC Showcase: Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam,” and “Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox,” to name a few.
For now, Tubi will remain accessible to all users. However, with blockbuster hits coming to its platform, don’t be surprised if that changes one day.
