Secret Service To Investigate John Schneider Over Comments That Joe Biden Should Be ‘Publicly Hung’

Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider is currently under investigation by the Secret Service after he reportedly suggested that President Joe Biden should be “publicly hung” in a deleted post on X.

Schneider’s comment was made in response to a tweet by Biden, 81, who stated that former President Donald Trump “poses many threats to our country.”

Many outlets were able to screenshot the tweet before it was deleted, which read: “Mr. President, I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly hung. Your son, too. Your response is… Sincerely, John Schneider.”

According to PEOPLE, Schneider has denied threatening the president.
