Meek Mill has announced intentions to launch his own cannabis strain, even though he had previously expressed concerns about the substance.
On Thursday, Meek shared his plans on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of himself seemingly at a cannabis dispensary.
Meek’s current strategy has left fans confused seeing as his plans contradicts his prior statements. He stated that smoking cannabis had adverse effects on his mental health. In a candid tweet from 2022, he expressed, “I smoke weed everyday and get depressed as soon as I get high … I be happy as hell sober lol it just helps me think deeper and more realistic lol.”
“Ima go to Dubai and completely stop smoking,” he tweeted. “Ima follow snoop. My doctor said I got a lil bit emphysema in a chest. If I don’t stop smoking it cuts my lifeline in half. I was addicted to the nicotine and this new weed got too many chemicals and too risky to play with my mental!”
Meek has grappled with drug addiction in the past and has openly talked about his previous routine of daily Percocet use.
