Boosie speaks out about the LGBTQ+ community once again.
The Louisiana native recently went live on Instagram to address the criticism he’s faced regarding his views on the LGBTQ+ community. He characterized this as a form of “bullying.” There have been suggestions from social media users that his firm position might suggest that he is a member of the community but has chosen to keep it private.
“Y’all bullies bruh,” he says. “I guess I’m the only one [to] speak up for straight people so I’m gay. Anybody who speak up for straight people y’all say is gay. That sh*t cr*zy.”
“Y’all can call me that because you’re not that. I’m not cool with it being pushed on the kids. But you can come on my (IG) live. I’m [going to] try to block you. So many of y’all coming on my Live and calling me gay just because I don’t like d*ck,” Boosie added. “Sh*t’s cr*zy.”
Despite Boosie’s persistent criticism of the LGBTQ+ community, he maintains that he is not prejudiced against or fearful of individuals based on their sexual orientation.
“People have to understand that it’s not the same stroke for the same folk,” he stated last year. “I trust gay people more than I trust regular people.”
Nevertheless, Boosie continues to voice his opposition to the LGBTQ lifestyle, even though his daughter, Poison Ivi, publicly announced her relationship with a woman. Additionally, Boosie has been involved in a widely publicized feud with the record-breaking rapper Lil Nas X, who openly identifies as gay.
