Melyssa Ford Gives Her Opinion On Karrine “Superhead” Steffans Not Being Included In Gunna’s “Bachelor” Video That Featured Former Video Vixens: “Name A Video That You Know Of Her In” [Video]

A battle between the OG video vixens could be brewing!

Melyssa Ford dismissed the notion of Karrine “Superhead” Steffans making an appearance in Gunna’s “Bachelor” music video, which featured legendary Hip-Hop video vixens. During the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, the male panel members shared their opinions on Steffans not being included in the video, while Ford seemed unamused.

“What? Name a video that you know of her in,” Ford said. “And a lot of us had a really big problem with that f*cking book title. Really, really big problem. Okay, no hate, no shade: when you think about her, do you think about her being one of the most prolific in terms of recognizable?”

She continued, “Like, where you can automatically say, ‘I know her from this, I know her from that, because she was the starring role’? No, you can’t really say that, because that wasn’t…She wasn’t me, she wasn’t Buffy, she wasn’t Esther, she wasn’t Rosa.”

When the men listed Steffans’ accomplishments, Ford once more became infuriated by the suggestions, asserting her own status as “Melyssa F*cking Ford.”

“‘Hey Papi’ had like 50 fucking girls in it, okay?” Ford concluded. “And the majority of the shots was literally body shots, heads cut off. So there’s that. And ‘Hey Papi’ comes after ‘Big Pimpin’,’ so I’m already here, and I’m Melyssa F*cking Ford. I’m not a girl’s girl to everybody, f*ck that sh*t. Okay? Maybe [it’s a little hate]. I’ll back it up.”

“Bachelor” made its debut at the 40th position on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart last year. Directed by Spike Jordan, the music video boasts an impressive ensemble of renowned video vixens, including Rosa Acosta, Tammy Torres, Esther Baxter, and Bria Myles. Their work and careers had established them as highly sought-after urban models during the mid to late 2000s.
