Rubi Rose has stepped into the Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion beef.
Amidst the buzz surrounding Megan’s latest release, “HISS,” Rose took a moment to express her thoughts on Minaj. On Saturday, a leaked snippet of the 26-year-old rapper’s “Close Friends” featured Rose sharing an image that mocked Minaj.
“Nicki Minaj evil as f*ck. Only option to marry was a pedophile, b*tch evil, pretty in the face but body botched as f*ck evil spirit a** b*tch, old as f*ck tryna keep up, ozempic really saved her big back self. Beefing with these young girls so lame, b*tch washed….you’re 40….Take care of papa and your drug addiction,” the post read.
The ongoing conflict between the two rappers reignited shortly after Megan released her latest snake-themed single, “Hiss.” In the opening verse, she raps, “These hoes don’t be mad at Megan / These hoes mad at Megan’s Law.”
Megan’s Law, implemented by the United States government in the ’90s, mandates that law enforcement share information about registered sex offenders with the public. The lyrics were promptly construed as a pointed reference to Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender.
Shortly after the release of “Hiss,” Minaj took to Instagram Live to “have a little fun.” She shared a snippet of an unreleased song, featuring lyrics like, “Bad bitch she like 6 foot / I call her big foot / The bitch fell off / I said get up on your good foot.”
The verse seemed to allude to the 2020 incident where Tory Lanez allegedly shot Megan in the foot. In addition to the Instagram Live session, Minaj went on a liking spree, endorsing posts on social media that ridiculed Megan’s appearance and made light of the shooting incident.
