Jermaine Dupri is not here for the internet dragging his Super Bowl socks.
The Atlanta producer hit the stage alongside Usher during his star-studded halftime performance on Sunday. While Dupri was only in frame for a moment, fans immediately took notice of his fancy socks, and the internet went wild. Given the festivities and hype surrounding the big game, Dupri didn’t immediately see that he was the butt of the jokes. However, once he sobered up Monday morning, he had a few words for critics of his drip.

Dupri hopped on Instagram to give a close-up look at his socks, which are formally known as the Louis Vuitton RUNWAY Pocket Socks and retail for $565.00.
“Haaa!! ok I ain’t have time for y’all last night I was too drunk, me and my homies performed at the Super Bowl so I’m just really seeing y’all got me f***ed up !! But I will say it’s funny as hell, yoooo!! @pharrell 🤣🤣 you see this !? PS we came into this game with our clothes on backwards, i ain’t no regular n***a,” Dupri wrote.
Dupri was just one guest to join the set. Lil Jon, Ludacris, and Alicia Keys all popped out with their Sunday Best for the monumental moment, which attracted over 30 million views.
