Following his severe car accident, MTV‘s The Challenge star Nelson Thomas decides to have his foot amputated.
Thomas endured numerous surgeries and an extended hospital stay since his rescue last March from his burning vehicle in Austin, Texas, thanks to the efforts of Minnesota Vikings player K.J. Osborn and three other kind-hearted individuals. However, on Sunday, the reality TV star revealed his decision to undergo amputation, setting his surgery date for March 5, 2024, ironically, a year after the accident.
“March 5, 2023 remains vivid in my memory, a persistent presence in my thoughts,” Thomas wrote in an Instagram post. “I consciously embrace it as the initiation of a new chapter. Opting for amputation, I am determined to own March 5 and redefine its significance in my life.”
