Miley Cyrus was hospitalized this week, and at the same time tweets from a director who has worked with her about producer Mike Will Made It began circulating online.
Miley’s representative said she was hospitalized with a severe allergic reaction to a prescribed antibiotic, and two upcoming tour stops were postponed. TMZ also reported that the reaction was to antibiotics she was taking.
Separately, according to screenshots shared online, director Diane Martel tweeted that Mike Will Made It is “disgusting” and followed it with a tweet saying disgusting equals murderous. The singer reportedly retweeted the second post. Mike Will Made It executive produced the Bangerz album. Neither the singer nor Mike Will had publicly explained the tweets, and Martel had not said what they referred to.
There is no confirmed connection between the tweets and the hospitalization, and neither the reasons behind the tweets nor the state of the working relationship had been addressed publicly at the time.
