Disturbing images have surfaced online showing a young child waxing a woman, and now police are investigating.Â
The troubling photos have hit the internet, showing the minor performing the wax on an unidentified nude female. The alleged mother of the child, salon owner Jasmine Ross, shared the picture. The Memphis Police have now gotten involved, implying that the offense occurred in that city. MPD has partnered with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services to assist with the case. Authorities are remaining tightlipped on the progress of their probe. However, they have issued a stiff warning to anyone who may encounter the images.Â
“Please DO NOT screen save or forward these images to law enforcement or anyone. Please do not download or upload these images in any way,” a press release from the MPD stated.

Instead, the agencies are asking that anyone with information contact the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.Â
In recent months, Memphis has been at the center of several missing children cases. In November 2023, 13 juveniles were rescued from a suspected human trafficking operation. The kids ranged in age from two months to 17 years of age. Furthermore, Tennessee as a whole seems to have a serious problem surrounding missing and exploited youths. In December 2022, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation revealed that between 500 to 600 youth under age 18 go missing in the state every month. While most are reported runaways or parental abductions, there are others that fall under much more suspicious circumstances.Â
