An attorney representing YSL member Tenquarius Mender has been arrested on gang charges.
Nicole Fegan was taken into custody on Friday following her involvement with the suspect of a September 27th, 2022 shooting. Two men were injured in the gunfire at Williams Street and Baker Street in Northwest Atlanta. One of the victims succumbed to his injuries, and when Fegan learned that the suspect, Keiontay Davis, was being sought after during a preliminary hearing stemming from the shooting, she gave the man a heads-up.

Fegan allegedly told the suspect to “dispose of his phone as police were going to arrest him.” Fegan was not representing Davis at the time, and it’s unclear why she felt compelled to notify him that there was a warrant out for his arrest. She is now charged with participation in criminal street gang activity and criminal solicitation to commit the offense of tampering with evidence.
Mender, who is a defendant in the Young Slime Life RICO gang trial, will likely now be forced to secure a new lawyer. In early 2023, he was separated from the YSL trial due to Fegan being pregnant. Fegan slammed the decision to try Mender separately, stating in May 2023, “I think at this point, trying them separately would be expensive and potentially prejudicial because the jury selection process has already started.” Mender previously rejected a plea deal, which would have freed him from jail. He now faces up to 50 years.
