Drake Bell Opens Up About Child Molestation in New Nickelodeon Docuseries

Nickelodeon star Drake Bell recently disclosed that he was a victim of sexual abuse by dialogue coach Brian Peck during the late ’90s on “All That” and “The Amanda Show” in the series “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.”

In August 2003, Peck was arrested on various charges related to the sexual abuse of a minor. By May 2004, he pleaded no contest to inappropriate acts with a 14- or 15-year-old and oral copulation with a minor under 16. He received a 16-month prison sentence in October 2004 and was ordered to register as a sex offender.

Bell was confirmed to be among the former child stars speaking in the upcoming ID documentary scheduled to air on March 17 and 18. A teaser released on Tuesday features Drake at the end, confirming his participation and intent to share his story.

“The clip reveals that former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell will be sharing publicly, for the first time, the story of the abuse he suffered at the hands of Brian Peck, his former dialogue coach, who was convicted in 2004 for his crimes against Drake and ordered to register as a sex offender.”

Although not much was shared in the promo, other child stars are also expected to share their stories in the upcoming documentary.

Previously, Drake faced a child endangerment conviction as an adult, and in recent years, he has openly discussed contemplating suicide and briefly went missing.
