Two of the best dunks in the NBA took place last night in a span of two hours.
Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards and the Hawks’ Jalen Johnson gave fans the show they came for, respectively.
The Timberwolves star shooting guard had arguably his best dunk in his brief NBA Career. Elevating a step past the free throw line, Edwards dunked on John Collins so hard that he couldn’t celebrate due to him dislocating his finger. Sourced also reported following the game that Collins suffered a head contusion on the play.

The Atlanta Hawks played back-to-back in Los Angeles over the past few days, However, it’s their Lakers match-up that had a viral moment. Jalen Johnson set the tempo for the game in the first few minutes by soaring over Austin Reeves, who was positioned in the restricted area, to execute a massive one-hand slam.

Austin was asked after the game about the dunk, and he showed that he was a good sport about it.
“Everybody saw what happened,” the Lakers shooting guard said in response to the question. “But we didn’t have your view though,” the journalist responded. “You don’t want my view,” Reaves said.
NBA Twitter debated which dunk was better from the night. What do you think?
