New details are emerging regarding the lawsuit surrounding the murder of rapper Takeoff.

According to the court docs obtained by RadarOnline, Takeoff’s mother, Titania Davenport, is suing 810 Billiards & Bowling for failing to ensure the safety of the rapper and fellow Migos star, Quavo. Davenport said the venue knew the rappers were headed to the bowling alley. Instead of ensuring there was adequate security, Davenport claims the bowling alley allowed weapons into the space.

However, 810 Billiards & Bowling places much of the blame on the murder suspect, Patrick Xavier Clark, who brought an illegal gun into the facility, ultimately killing Takeoff. He was shot after a dispute between other parties who were present. The issues allegedly stemmed from a wager gone wrong. Sadly, his death was captured on camera and shared across social media. Many people criticized Houston mogul J. Prince and his sons for having something to do with the shooting. The owners have attributed some of the violence to Takeoff and Quavo themselves, claiming their gambling and affiliations are to blame.

Takeoff’s father, Kenneth Ball, also has a similar lawsuit against the bowling alley. Both parents are seeking damages related to the 2022 death of the “Culture” rapper. Quavo’s assistant is also suing the center.
