Al B. Sure has made headlines again, hinting that his coma from a few years ago may have connections to Diddy.
He also opened up about the current state of his relationship with his son Quincy, whom he had publicly reached out to not long ago.
The R&B artist was present at the Equal Justice Now Awards in L.A. this past Friday, where he was advocating for equal access to healthcare with Ben Crump. During the event, he made a veiled reference to “the current Diddy situation,” as reported by TMZ.
Al is also in the process of creating a documentary project that will narrate his life story, promising to reveal the circumstances that led to his mysterious coma in 2022.
In late summer of 2022, Al B. Sure unexpectedly became ill and slipped into a coma, remaining in that state for three months. He eventually woke up and has been on the path to a complete recovery ever since.
No official explanation for the coma was ever provided.
Now, Al is implying a connection between his coma and Diddy, though he hasn’t specified the nature of this link. However, he did discuss his relationship with his biological son Quincy, whom he had with the late Kim Porter. Their relationship has been strained since the ’90s.
Al mentioned that his call for Quincy to “come home” was an open invitation, signifying that the door is always open for him. He recognized that Quincy is an adult capable of making his own choices.
