On Saturday, it was revealed that Kobe Bryant’s 2000 NBA Finals championship ring sold for a record price of $927,200.

According to Goldin, a collective marketplace, The ring was “obtained directly from the Bryant family, this ring is a true one-of-a-kind, and we can confirm that it is the only championship ring ever given by Kobe to his father.”

The championship ring, made of 14K gold and adorned with 40 diamonds, features the Los Angeles Lakers logo and “World Champions” on the front.

One side of the ring bears the inscription “Ring Bling” and the Lakers‘ winning year, while the other side includes Kobe Bryant’s name, the team’s regular season and postseason records (67-15 and 15-8), and his first jersey number, 8, engraved on the underside.

As you know, Bryant gifted his first championship ring to his father, Joe “Jelly Bean” Bryant, who subsequently decided to auction it off through Goldin.
