Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her husband, Ryan Anderson, are officially over.
On Monday, the convicted murderer filed for divorce after marrying in July 2022. Blanchard was still behind bars when they said “I do” after being pen pals for a while. When she was released from Missouri’s Chillicothe Correctional Center on December 28th, 2023, Blanchard went to live with her husband. However, in March, she revealed that she was moving in with her father after the two separated. Ironically, just days ago, Blanchard got matching tattoos with her ex-boyfriend, Ken Urker.
While it’s unclear what role Urker played in the breakup, it’s clear that Blanchard is no longer interested in Anderson. According to TMZ, their relationship became explosive, with Blanchard believing that Anderson might become physical with her. However, he claims that he has no idea what she is referring to, even stating that the divorce “came out of the blue.”
Blanchard’s complicated love life could play out on television in an upcoming Lifetime docuseries titled, “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up.” She was convicted of second-degree murder in 2016 for having her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, butchered by her ex-boyfriend, Nick Godejohn. Gypsy served seven years, while Godejohn is serving life without parole.
On the bright side, Blanchard is single again right before summer, which gives her the perfect opportunity to be outside.
