Drake and Rick Ross’ beef has taken over social media, with the two trading shots at one another since the unveiling of Drake’s “Push Ups.” After Rozay caught wind of the few bars addressed to him, he returned with “Champagne Moments,” from there, the once discreet issues between them were brought to the forefront. Things seemingly stemmed from Drake sending a cease and desist to French Montana to have his verse on Montana’s project removed, which led to Ross unfollowing Drizzy in early March.
Now, with diss tracks out and messy Instagram posts being exchanged, things have clearly been pretty messy behind the scenes for quite some time. While rap beef keeps the genre interesting, one key takeaway that makes Ross and Drake’s fallout so disappointing is their lengthy history with one another. The men have collaborated on over ten records, many of which only showcased the duo and their flawless musical chemistry. Drake previously named Ross one of the people he enjoyed collaborating with the most, with the two teasing a joint album over the years. Sadly, it never materialized, and judging by their nasty back-and-forth, we may never get another single from superstars. Nevertheless, let’s take a quick stroll down memory lane to the times these men delivered on their coordinated efforts.
