It looks like the international leg of Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 tour will be a family affair, after all.
Kenneth Petty, the husband of rap superstar Nicki Minaj, recently received court approval to travel internationally so he can accompany her on her upcoming “Pink Friday 2” world tour across Europe.
Today, Judge Michael Fitzgerald in Los Angeles approved a travel order for Kenneth Petty, who is on federal probation due to his failure to register as a sex offender.
The court order requires Petty to return to the U.S. by July 14, 2024, and check in with his probation officer immediately upon his return.
The 46-year-old’s request to lift travel restrictions was recently publicized by legal affairs reporter Meghann Cuniff, who shared the news and a photo of the legal documents on X (formerly known as Twitter).
This application comes after Petty faced legal issues less than a year ago when he was found guilty of making threatening remarks toward rapper Offset in the presence of another individual with a criminal record, leading to a 120-day house arrest sentence.
The controversy surrounding Petty’s legal status has often overshadowed Minaj, who has frequently defended her marriage and privacy online.
In a rare public comment in Vogue, Minaj discussed their relationship, describing it as filled with laughter and shared memories, and highlighted the personal connection they share, with her husband being one of the few who calls her by her legal name.

That’s a beautiful thing to be able to travel with his wife. Hopefully he doesn’t do anything to make the judge regret his decision. Great memories that they both can share together… Happy travels
