In a horrifying event over the weekend in Hillsboro, Oregon, a woman was captured on a doorbell camera being kidnapped from a front porch in the middle of the night. The footage, recorded Sunday night, shows the woman frantically approaching a stranger’s house and attempting to ring the doorbell before a man suddenly appears, grabs her, and drags her away as she screams for help.
Authorities have clarified that while the incident appears random, the two individuals involved knew each other and had some form of relationship prior to the event.
The homeowner, who did not recognize the woman, promptly reported the incident to the police. Within approximately 24 hours, law enforcement successfully located and rescued the woman, arresting the man responsible for the kidnapping.
The suspect, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, faces kidnapping charges. The local community aided the swift resolution, which helped identify both the victim and the suspect, enabling police to act quickly.
