Megan Thee Stallion is facing a new harassment lawsuit but has vehemently denied the allegations. Her lawyer, Alex Spiro, stated to Page Six, “This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court.”
The lawsuit was filed by Emilio Garcia, a former videographer for Megan, in Los Angeles. Garcia accuses the “Savage” rapper of creating a toxic work environment, detailing an incident in June 2022 during a tour stop in Ibiza, Spain. He claims he was trapped in a moving vehicle and forced to witness Megan engaging in sexual activities with another woman, which he found shocking and uncomfortable. “I was kind of frozen, and I was shocked. At kind of just the overall audacity to do this right, right beside me,” Garcia told NBC News.
Garcia also alleges that Megan and her management company, Roc Nation, retaliated against him after the incident by changing his compensation from a monthly rate of $4,000 to a “pay-per-task” system, significantly reducing his earnings. Additionally, he claims he was subjected to verbal abuse and fat-shaming by Megan, which contradicted her public advocacy for body positivity.
The lawsuit claims that these actions culminated in Garcia’s dismissal in June 2023, which his attorneys argue was “direct retaliation for his complaints about the ongoing illegal behavior and failure to pay him properly.”
Garcia is suing not only Megan but also Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment, Inc., Hot Girl Touring, LLC, and Roc Nation, alleging harassment and various labor code violations.
