The feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar appears never-ending at this point, with Drake releasing yet another response.
On Sunday, the rapper unveiled “The Heart Part 6,” and this time, he had a lot to say. In the Lamar diss, “Not Like Us,” which dropped on Saturday, the California rapper accused Drizzy of pursuing underage girls. He also claimed his former friend used Atlanta rappers to further grow his career. Apparently, none of this sat right with Aubrey, who used “The Heart Part 6” to address many of these accusations, beginning with the more serious of them.
Drake denied having relations with underage girls
“I never been with no one underage, but now I understand why this the angle that you really mess with/ Just for clarity, I feel disgusted / I’m too respected / If I was f****n’ young girls, I promise I done been arrested / I’m way too famous for the s**t you just suggested, but that’s not the lesson / Clearly there’s a deeper message / Deep cuts that never healed and now they got infected.”
For years, there have been rumors surrounding the Toronto superstar secretly dating underage girls, starting with actress Millie Bobby Brown. In 2018, while she was 14, she revealed that Drake had texted her “boy advice.” While both have maintained that their exchanges were innocent, their affiliation has continued to spark debate. There is also a video that has resurfaced since the rap battle showing Drake on stage with a 17-year-old fan, asking “why do you look like that?” and telling her she is thick. Still, Drake and many of his fans have slammed any notion that he was being inappropriate with teenagers.
Drake claimed he had people in his team give Lamar fake information
“The one before the last one, we finessed you into telling a story that doesn’t even exist
And then, you go and drop the West Coast one to try and cover that up/ I would like that one, that w-, that, that would be some s**t I could dance to if you wasn’t triplin’ down on some whole other bulls**t.”
During Kendrick Lamar’s “6:16 in LA,” which was released Friday morning, he claimed Drizzy was hiding a daughter. This led many fans to go digging for evidence of this, though according to Drake, he purposely had people in his camp feed this fake information to Lamar.
Drake accused Kendrick Lamar of beefing with him to promote his forthcoming album
“Album droppin’ soon, no wonder you turn to a clout chaser ‘stead of doing hard labor/ N***a, I’ll see you when I see you like Fantasia/ And Whitney, you can hit me if you need a favor.”
Lamar is rumored to have an album dropping soon, which Drake has theorized is the reason for his vitriol towards him.
Neither side has provided substantial receipts to back their many claims, though it’s unlikely that will stop them from going head-to-head anytime soon.
