Formula 1 raced its way into Miami over the weekend, transforming the city into a vibrant hub of high-speed action. Major Food Group hosted the third installment of its soiree on the sand, ‘American Express Presents CARBONE BEACH,’ from May 2 to 5, 2024. The four-night affair was hosted by MFG founders Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone, and Rich Torrisi and offered a reimagined twist on the iconic American Express CARBONE BEACH experience. Among the notable attendees were LeBron James, Patrick Mahomes, LL Cool J, Ludacris, and Jimmy Butler.
Rich Kleiman, CEO of Boardroom, and David Grutman, Founder of Groot Hospitality, hosted an exclusive Boardroom x Coinbase Miami Brunch during F1 weekend. The invite-only event took place at Casadonna, a new coastal Italian restaurant, and was attended by an array of stars from sports, music, entertainment, and business. DJ Chase B provided music for VIP guests, including Kevin Durant, Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Michael Rubin, Noah Tepperberg, Myles Garrett, Francis Suarez, Tay Keith, Alec Ogletree, Laremy Tunsil, Jordan Clarkson, John Wall, Anré Williams, Chantelle Jeffries, DJ Ruckus, Joe Wilkinson, Jordan Grant, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Matt Kalish, Charles Omenihu, Jarred Vanderbilt, Speedy Mormon, Ronnie Fieg, Patty Mills, Alyssa Mills, Jeff Hamilton, Will Makris, Matt Siegel, and others.
NEON 16 concluded Miami Race Week with a lavish three-day VIP event at the Red Bull Energy Station at Hard Rock Stadium from May 3-5, where guests enjoyed a premier racing weekend. This exclusive setting offered unrivaled race views, attracting celebrities, athletes, influencers, and renowned DJs, including ‘Despacito’ singer Luis Fonsi and his wife Águeda Lopéz, music and TV producer Lex Borrero, reggaeton artist Arcángel, Red Bull Racing F1 driver Checo Perez, actor Jacob Scipio, soccer players Igor Lichnovsky and Israel Reyes, and NFL player Jordan Poyer. The festivities concluded with an afterparty at Medium Cool, hosted by NTERTAIN, featuring signature cocktails from D’USSÉ COGNAC and 1800 TEQUILA.
On Sunday, May 5th, after Lando Norris won the Miami Grand Prix for McLaren, several celebrities headed to LIV Miami to celebrate. Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler was spotted in high spirits at LIV Miami and was greeted by the headliner, DJ Khaled. DJ Khaled delivered an explosive performance with some of his top hits like “POPSTAR,” “GOD DID,” and “All I Do Is Win.” During his performance, DJ Khaled also introduced YG Marley, the son of Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley, to perform his new single titled “Praise Jah in the Moonlight.”
