Boosie and Webbie recently linked up for a show in Shreveport, Louisiana, and fans are reflecting on their iconic run.
Boosie shared a flick of him and Webbie after they rocked the stage, with fans flocking to his comment section to express their excitement over them performing together. In the caption, Boosie referred to him and Webbie as the “Best duo ever,” a sentiment that many agree with.
The pair rose to prominence in the early 2000s. While they were never officially a group, the close friends collaborated together on countless tracks over the years. Sadly, there were rumors that the men had beef at one point, but it appears this was put behind them some time ago. Some of the most widely known are “Wipe Me Down,” “Independent,” “Better Believe It,” and “Long Journey,” to name a few. However, this doesn’t scratch the surface of their two-decade contributions to music, which was widely prominent during the mixtape age in the years before streaming.
Some fans even called for the pair to release new music to remind a new generation of hip-hop lovers of the famed “Boosie and Webbie Era.”

Though there doesn’t appear to be any plans to do so, it is a welcome delight to see the duo performing together.
