Eli Apple’s Mom Talks Groupies & Rolexes

Newly drafted NFL Baller, Eli Apple, has the type of mother every rookie needs. She’s smart, she’s aware, and she plays no games!

Annie Apple, just days after her son was drafted to Giants, took to Twitter to pray for the Groupies who are thinking about preying on her son. “Praying for all the thirsty girls sliding in new NFL rookies DMs with heavy booty & cleavage action pics. Only Jesus can quench your thirst,” she tweeted. 

Annie also shared her son’s draft experience with Sports Illustrated. She details Eli’s journey from a redshirted Freshman at Ohio State, to the 10th overall pick in the draft. The most interesting part of her story is about the Rolex watch she did not allow Eli to wear on draft day. 

“Eli was offered Rolex watches and diamonds to wear on draft day,” she wrote.  “I told him, “Dude, you’re an unemployed college dropout. You will not be on TV with a Rolex.” So we decided if he needed to know what time it was, he could just look at his phone. I bought him a portable charger.”

That’s right, mom! Way to make sure your son went into the NFL scandal free!
